Frequently Asked Questions

What is Damage Restoration?

Damage restoration is the process of restoring destroyed property. This can be damage as a result of water infiltration, mold growth, fire and smoke, and many other elements. Damage Restoration is a multi-step process: our team will come in after the damage and do the clean-up, dry out, remediation - whatever is needed to return your property to its former state.

Why do I need Damage Restoration?

You need damage restoration any time you have damage to your home or property caused by Water, Fire, Mold, Storm, Flood, or Smoke.

When does Damage Restoration take place?

Damage Restoration can begin during or soon after you have damage. We strongly prefer to fix the issue first before we restore the damage so that we do not have further damage.

If I have a water leak, who do I call first?

If you have a preferred professional (ex: plumber, roofer, etc.) that you'd like to work with to fix the leak, contact them. If you don't have a preferred professional, you can call us and we'll be happy to refer one in your area. Regardless of who you call first, contact us or have your professional contact us immediately after so that we can assess any water or mold damage that has been caused by your leak.

Insurance Questions

Does my homeowners' insurance cover Damage Restoration?

All homeowners' insurance policies are different; however, many homeowners' insurances do cover damage restoration. Please read your insurance policy carefully for the most accurate details.

What if my insurance company refuses my claim?

Insurance companies can refuse a claim for several reasons. One reason may be that your insurance does not cover the particular type of damage you have or the cause of the damage.
